road update...

Big crowds, long flights. Best story; a girl dressed up as Trixie and made her dad dress up as the 2:30am dad for her birthday party. Cool.

I'm in FL today; drop by if you're in the area..

Here's a nice article relating to my Dallas appearance.

Thanks, Mo! We enjoyed seeing you as well and my daughter was impressed with your p"pigeon scream": http://teacherninja.blogspot.com/2008/04/mo-rocks.html

You rocked! (And we apologize for the inconsiderate camera flashers in the audience. How many times can you ask people to shut those things off?)

I just wanted to let you know how much I love the book. I hope to get to one of your later New York signings. I featured you and the new pigeon book on my blog (educationmaze.blogspot.com) as the book of the week!

You were magnificent in Decatur. Hilarious, too. My daughter hasn't stopped bragging about it to her friends.

Because I'm obsessed with that silly pigeon and spend my day student-teaching with 5 year olds, I shared "Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late" with a friend of mine and she loved it so much that today she bought me "The Pigeon Wants a Puppy!" I didn't even know it was out but I adore this book and I was laughing the whole way through - can't wait to share it with the kids :) Can you take a trip to the Illinois Reading Council conference next year!?

Thank you so much for making a stop in Dallas! Kira and I had a blast at your DMA event. She has told EVERYONE (even people we don't know) that we got to meet you, and how you singed her pigeon shirt. She is VERY proud!
