My lovable, razzing (ex-)local paper breaks the story.
(for those of you who read the article, 3 notes: 1. Jon and Ted owe me a drink. 2. Editor Gersh gave more ink to my dog than me over the years. 3. It was a pretty nice pad.)
Don't worry, tho'. I'll be back for Brooklyn Book Fest this fall.
Further afield, another local paper makes me blush.

Welcome to Massachusetts! I grew up there, and although I left 16 years ago, I still call it home!
I will be going home in a week, maybe I'll run into you - haha!
I'd like to heartily second the previous poster's welcome to the neighborhood! Is the move to the "country" what inspired the Pigeon to ask for a puppy?
Good luck settling in and I hope you and your family enjoy exploring your new digs!
Welcome to New England! I'm sure the pigeon will approve, since we have an abundance of hot dogs and puppies readily available. ;)
Looking forward to the prospect of a local reading!

Good luck on your move north - I have a funny feeling it was Trixie that may have had more to do with it than Pigeon...
Too bad you're not headed out to the Northwest instead, to rescue a great bookstore (that you introduced us to!)
