October Schedule!

I'm off to Pittsburg and New York for my September appearances, so I thought now would be a good time to mention next month's fun events.

October is going to be a busy month for public appearances starting right off on October 1st with a very special event:

11:30am            Sculpture installation, presentation, & signing at THE ERIC CARLE PICTURE BOOK MUSEUM.
125 West Bay Road
Amherst, MA 01002

As followers of the blog know, I've been making odd bits of metal sculpture as of late from toilet roll holders to monstery fire-pits, including a Red Elephant.  On Sunday we will be installing a very large version of The Red Elephant in the courtyard of the Carle Museum as part of a long term exhibit.  The piece is over 15' long and 5' high.  We'll be installing it at 11:30 am, followed by a presentation about the process of its creation with myself and fabricator Sam Ostroff at 1pm.  That, in turn, will be followed by a signing.
Red Elephant proof of concept @ 3' x 1'
I'm very excited about this piece and hope you'll come down to see it.

This event is open to the public with museum admission.

Then it's back to work for a bit and preparing for the:

HAPPY PIG DAY! TOUR! to celebrate the release of Elephant and Piggie's 16th adventure, HAPPY PIG DAY!

If you're in the area, please drop by to yell OINKY OINK OINK! with me!

As a special bonus Elephant and Piggie will being visiting along with me on every stop (driving in their own Elephant and Piggie Mobile!), so that you can take pictures with them!

(Please remember to check with the venue for signing policies, etc. This listing is as up to date as possible.)

That's it, but I'll be back on the road in November for a few fun events.
