THE DUCKLING GETS A COOKIE!? gets a Star!, Lots of Nice News

The fine folks at Publisher's Weekly have given my upcoming THE DUCKLING GETS A COOKIE!? its second starred review.  They say:

"Willems packs his punchy dialogue, punctuation, and cartoon visuals with meaning."

Thanks, PW!

Meanwhile:

Over at Scholastic Parent & Child, they list their 100 favorite children's books ever. Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! is bestowed "Best Read-Aloud" title and clocks in at #28 and Knuffle Bunny clocks in at #19.  USA Today has the story.

Yowzer!  That's very flattering.

In other fun news, Elephant and Piggie's WE ARE IN A BOOK! has been nominated for a Monarch Award (click master list 2013), the Illinois award where real kids vote for their favorite book.  Perhaps this is a time to mention I was born in Illinois?  Naw. Anyway, if you're a kid in Illinois, ask your school or library to start voting!

Oh, there's more:

Hooray for Amanda and Her Alligator! has been listed on Capitol Choices best of the year list as well as the Chicago Library's list.

Hooray!

This might be a fun time to play an Amanda and Her Alligator game or get some wallpaper on GoMo.net!
