Pix from the Past...

On Tuesday, I visited the Peck School in Holyoke, MA as part of the Friendiversary Celebrations that give a book to every 2nd grader in a participating Title 1 school in New Orleans, Springfield, MA, & Holyoke thanks to the help of First Book.

A great time was had reading and answering questions.  Even Mayor Alex Morse dropped by (he had attended Peck school when he was a kid).

The full First Book report is here!

You can see more photos here!

Want to help out your neighbors and get books in the hands of kids who otherwise might not have any? Sponsor a nearby organization with a Friendiversary pack.

And don't forget to do the Friendiversary dance!

And thanks!

Changing gears....

It's been a few weeks since DON'T LET THE COMEDIANS DO STORYTIME at the San Francisco Sketchfest, but I had such fun I thought I'd post up some fun shots by Jakub Mosur:

The class photo: Front Row: Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Joe Lo Truglio, David Wain,  and Patton "Fussy" Oswalt.  Back Row: Mr. Willems,  Ken Marino, Jeneane Garofalo, Andy Richter,  Laraine Newman, and Michael Ian Black.

From Goldilocks and the 3 Dinosaurs.

Rachel Dratch & Ken Marino made a great Elephant & Piggie!

David Wain is a Naked Mole Rat

Love how much fun Jeneane is having...

Pigeon drawing demo...
Rachel and Joe show off their Pigeon drawings.

Saying 'hi' to the kids (everyone got those great foam hand Pigeon thingies)

I hope to do a similar show again! Maybe you can drop by.
